International Biomedical Challenge Olumpiad. Bio........ You can already guess what's the stuff about. Yeah all about BIOLOGY. And yknow how I don't really into bio hm but since my teacher asked our whole class to participate this olympiad, well, why not? We took this as our new challenge.
This was held at Singapore on Feb. Around 22-24 I guess. To be frank, this was my first time stepping on Singapore land haha! I know it's lame but yknow every single thing has its first time :)
Our first destination was at STF (Sekolah Tun Fatimah). We stayed there for a night then the next day we directly went to Singapore. Singapore was nice, really! Tak bersepah, tak serabut and most importantly, rubbish are thrown at correct place! But the saddest thing about Singapore, most of toilets at the international school where the olympiad was held didn't provide pipe T.T We had to use tissue instead :( but nah nvm it was just a small matter anyway
Our first day there went well. We had our small visit, and olympiad was challenging! Susah nak mati soalan all about nervous system and most of questions were not in the upper form syllabus, ergh tak guna. During night, our teacher allowed us to go out of our hotel and have small visit at nearby area. Me'ah didn't join us. Well, you can guess what would happen when an adult let kids go out by themselves without their guidance. Of course we went wild! Haha. Shera, Afiqah, Mien, Mangat and I had night walk at Orchard Road and sesat naik bus and shopped some souvenirs hahahahaha happy sangat coz we were able to go out without adults at oversea (not so oversea but still, it's not our country rite)
Then, after dah sesat, we finally reached at Times Square (I think. I ain't sure myself either) phew Alhamdulillah! Our whole classmates were there playing truth or dare. Like seriously? I mean, when we were sesat the whole night at the middle of the city, they all were here just playing that game???! Zzzzz. Pastu BAAAAAM! Busted by our teacher!!!!!! Oh we had some issues w teacher that night. We even apologized to teacher and stuffs.
The next day, olympiad again. Then, visit again blabla then the next day visit lagi then, RESULT!!! and guess what? Our whole classmates got award!!! 3 of us got GOLD award and the rest got SILVER and BRONZE awards!! I got bronze haha. Our teacher was surprised by that too and plus we even got the BEST SCHOOL award! Alhamdulillah, finally we made teacher proud and she didn't get mad at all. She treated us meal on the way back to KL. How can we not love you teacher hihi.
