Have you ever been compared by anyone like with your siblings, or your cousins, or your neighbours?
"Adik dia cantik tapi sayangnya tak sepandai kakak dia"
"Dia cantik tapi mak dia lagi cantik"
"Kakak dapat pergi oversea, tapi adik dia takde lah pandai mana"
"Cuba jadi macam abang awak tu. Baik, handsome, pandai."
It hurts, doesn't it? I know because I've been in that situation too. Oh yeah, like people compare you and your sister. I donno why. Jealous ke apa ke dengki ke? My sister sampai dah down tau.
Yknow what, if I knew you and met you one day, I'd like to give a slap on your face. Duhh, I don't even know you. Dah lah budak sekolah lagi. MRSM tak MRSM lah. I've finished school already and so what? Kesah pulak aku.
Please don't be judgemental. Different people have different talent and ability. Takkan semua adik beradik pastu semua nak pandai, semua nak cantik. Allah dah tetapkan yang terbaik untuk setiap hamba-Nya. If a person is perfect dari segi akademik, beauty, talent, and manners, maybe dia tak perfect dari segi kesihatan. Who knows? Tu nikmat masing masing.
Sometimes, Allah gives everything to a particular person. Wealth, health, beauty, intelligence. Everything. Maybe in that way the person can be more tawakkal and grateful. or in either way, he or she could be more greedy and arrogant. Always pray the best for yourself and the rest. Doakan dapat dimurahkan rezeki dan dipermudahkan urusan hidup dunia akhirat, in shaa Allah, He gives the best for you.
Oh and lagi satu. The way you treat people also can be detected either you hate or adore them. They don't mention it directly but ykow how to detect it, like c'mon.. Get it? I mean the way they stare at you, and they see all your faults rather than your good deeds.
C'mon, don't plant hatred in your heart because soon, you might experience the same thing (karma falls), or maybe rasa tak tenang all the time. If you dislike someone, just keep it to yourself and don't spread to the others about her/his bad things/faults. Just pray that she or he will change to be better ok? That would be easy.
